Tech Notes.
1. Do Laser Weaponds hace a recoil when fired ?
Alright unlike most modern weaponds of the 20th century that use a physical projectile , most of what a laser itself is is light , or something much like a glorified high power flash light with its lenses extreamly phocoused , now i ask you do flashlights have a recoil ? with my unserstanding it is no .

2. Do laser Weaponds make any noise when fired?
Other then the sound of the trigger being pulled itself the answer here is also no. it is a very quiet weapond makeing it ideal for our rougeish assasin types. though the sounds of the victom being hit by it and it burrowing into there fleash would typically cause them to scream , hit the floor ,or any possible explosions due to the beam igniting something would make a sound. but the beam itself is very quiet
we can blame the notion that most of these weaponds have sound form most movie sci fi , like starwars , star trek , or Babalon 5 , adding the sound effect to these weaponds there typically adds some power to them , and well we humans like to place sound to image , and they would seem weak drematically there without the neat sounds

3. What about other forms of energy weaponds ?
Ion , and Partical beam weaponds make no sound again , and have absolutly no reciol what so ever . Though Plasma weaponds do have a surtin recoil about them , which is simular to a rifle itself. but that is because the fireing system and the immense release of energy. Energy cannons such as plasma might have a sqyeal , sizzle of zap to them , but that is more likely to be the sound of the fireing mechanism that makes a noise rather then the energy that is emitted itself.
